My go-to gift giving formula!

My go-to gift giving formula!

Can you believe it? A serious season of gift-giving occasions is upon us!

Lucky for you, I'm here to share with you my gift-giving formula! When I have gifts to give - and especially a lot to consider in a short while - I like to make it as easy as possible on myself. I have 3 kids and a total of 9 teachers to consider for Teacher Appreciation Week, plus my own mom, grandma, and mother-in-law for Mother's Day! I'm sure your list is similar, whether it's filled with teachers, nurses (woop woop!), mothers/mother-figures, or graduating students, there seems to be a celebration around every calendar corner these days. All exciting, of course, but it can be overwhelming just the same.

So, without further ado, here's my formula for a gift that never disappoints, shows you care, AND won't drive you crazy trying to think of ideas!
Heartfelt, handwritten card +
consumable gift +
gift card to local establishment =
LOVE!
Here are a few of my favorite examples from each category!

Handwritten, hand-made cards:
Consumable Gifts:
Gift Cards:
Package it all up in a sweet box or paper bag with bright tissue paper and a colorful ribbon, and you're all set!

Want to gift a candle but aren't sure which scent is best? If you don't know someone well (ie. your kid's art teacher or bus driver), consider one of these more neutral yet very popular scents!
Want to give a bigger gift (or pool together with some other families to spoil your classroom teacher)? Consider a candle subscription - the gift that keeps on giving!

Need more than 1 gift? Consider a sampler pack - either choose from one of my pre-packaged sets, or build your own and use code BUILDABOX to save $10 off your choice of 4 candles!
Remember, though, that the point of gifting is to express your love and appreciation to the recipient - so use this formula to make it easy on yourself so you're not resenting the occasion! Let me know what you think of this formula - I'd love to hear what you come up with! And remember, Amazon and Target will be just fine without you. :)
